West Condensers

• The West condenser, a thinner variant of the Liebig condenser, features a narrow annular space between the coolant jacket and the inner tube. This design allows for a faster coolant speed and, consequently, enhanced cooling efficiency due to the increased flow rate of the cooling medium.

• The effective height is measured from the top to the bottom of the jacketed portion of the condenser.

• All condensers have an I.D. of approximately 10 mm. Please note, the overall height is measured manually and there might be slight discrepancies.

• The condenser features two standard taper joints of the same size: a top outer (female) joint and a lower inner (male) joint.

• Made of borosilicate glass for its excellent chemical durability and mechanical strength.
